Meet Scott. He's the leader, provider and protector of the home. He's sweet and lots of fun, but you do not want to cross this guy. My hubs is tough. He has a fierce love for hunting! Not only can he hit his target, he can butcher and process the meat. He can spear a fish off the reef at camp, filet it and cook it like a world-class chef. If the world suffers total technological shutdown, with Scott's leadership I am positive we will be able to live off the land like pioneers. He's a stinkin' amazing administrator and he works hard at everything he does. But enough about his awesome macho-ness. He is syrupy sweet when it comes to loving me and the kiddos. He loves to teach the Bible to us, play his guitar and sing with the kiddos, take Kilee hunting, and wrestle with Josiah. And he's a total hottie in my opinion! Good gravy, I love this man.

And Myself. I am the helper and keeper of this home, or at least that's the goal! I enjoy staying at home with our two kiddos and watching them learn and grow. There are often days when I think I've boarded a one-way bus to the funny farm, but I wouldn't have it any other way! I am adjusting to life on the mission field and I am picking up on the Creole language steadily. Our new life in Haiti can be very challenging, but it is also really fun to experience it all as a family. I really enjoy long-distance running, however I prefer to run horizontally rather than vertically up the side of the mountains here in Haiti. So, walking/hiking suits me just fine for now. I still enjoy music, seeing as how it was my major in college, and I would love to perform again one day. I homeschool our eldest and try to get out and experience a little bit of Haitian culture each day with the kids. So thankful for Christ's extravagant grace on my life, because that's the only way this crazy momma gets through the day. :)

Meet Kilee. She's our six-year-old miracle child. You can read more about her in "Our Story". Kilee is an eclectic blend of princess, artist, comedienne, and farm girl. She sings her way through life and loves to create beautiful things, yet she lives for donning camo coveralls and going huntin' with daddy. She is my constant helper and is always wanting to learn how to do whatever I'm doing. I love it! And the sense of humor . . . There are things that continually come out of this little girl's mouth that are fit for the joke page in Reader's Digest. She is a hoot! Aside from all of these qualities, however, Kilee has a love for others and is always thinking of ways to bless her friends and encourage them. Especially her little brother . . .

Meet Josiah. He is our too-cute-for-his-own-good, lively four year old boy. More is written about him in "Our Story" as well. Josiah loves to play ball, run, jump off things, and push anything that has wheels. Diggers are his absolute fave. He is fascinated by construction equipment and loves to share that love with those closest to him by always asking if we can sit down and watch "Mighty Machines" with him. I think we all know every line by heart. Josiah loves time with his daddy! Anything Daddy is up to, you can bet that Josiah is right there with him. Even though he's a sucker for daddy, he loves the women in his life. Not a day goes by when I don't get an "I love you, Mommy" and a snuggly goodnight rock in the rocking chair with my little buddy. And Josiah has a fierce love for "Sissy." Where she goes, he is following close behind. I love it that they love each other.
